Pros

Worked for Pronto about 1 month and got terribly sick. Explained to management about sickness and was out for 3 days. Seems like management does not care about the wellness of the contractors that are in the field. Pronto sent me a text message stating that I was off the schedule for 2 weeks. Payday comes around in the same week that I was ill and Pronto did not pay me. I contacted them via email, by phone and text and they refused to answer. The following week, I received a email from them stating they will be holding my check for escrow and will be given the balance of whats left after a year. No one said I was fired or no longer employed. They never called me or contacted me after that text stating that they were withholding jobs until Christmas. I have not been paid from Pronto and their core of business is very unprofessional.

Cons

Terrible business practices. Very unprofessional staff in management. New business that does not have the slightest idea on running a home improvement business.

Pros

A good environment originally that was contaminated by poor decisions.

Cons

Unfortunately, some poor decisions by Upper Management without consultation of the employees led to a massive downsize, including the termination of six employees in about 20 minutes in one day. They gave a manager far too much power and they ruined the culture and overall success of the business. That person has since left. It is unfortunate because I fully bought into what Pronto had to offer, but upper management was stubborn and didn't listen to their top sales people. Their salary and commission projections to new employees were ridiculous and never attainable. They have completely flipped the switch on their original philosophy and sales people are now driving around the city estimating.
