Pros

Competitive salary, ability to transfer throughout the corporation, promotions from within, etc. I have learned a great deal working for Proliance, and would recommend it to any one. Excellent PTO package, excellent 401K (first 5% matched at 100%), profit sharing, and other benefits I'm sure I'm forgetting about.

Cons

Health Insurance (ridiculous policy exclusions, high deductible, and even higher max out of pocket). For example, when I started working here our deductible was only $200 (or maybe $250), max OOP was about $1250.00, we could go anywhere for prescriptions, and the company paid for our ins in full. Now we have a $1500 deductible, an almost $7000 max OOP, prescriptions (maintenance) are mail order only, and we have to pay a portion of this terrible ins plan.

Pros

-Most of the surgeons and nurses were very friendly, as were patients. -Medical benefits were great and very affordable if it was just the employee on the plan. -Schedule was great, open 6am-6pm M-F. Options given. -OT generally available if desired (though mostly approved/given to favorites first) -Treated staff very well during initial Covid shutdown. Surgeon owners and Board stepped up to ensure employees were kept knowledgeable on news, and employees were given a choice to stay and work or take a step back with their jobs secure. -Provided ample PPE for every position, before and during Covid. -It was great to see patients lives improve through their time with Proliance. From initial visit to PT to Surgery it was nice to see positive outcomes. -Management would stand up for employees, mostly to external people. -Corporate HR was very easy to get in touch with and great to work with if ever needed.

Cons

-At first I felt valued as an employee, but quickly realized it was because they had run themselves so far into the ground that any competent person who could help would be the hero of the minute. -Management would play favorites, take hard workers for granted. -Safety concerns weren't always properly addressed oftentimes until after something would happen. -Medical plan very pricey once dependents are added. -Could be very cliquey. Customer service people who would consistently get complaints from patients *and* employees over racist, sexist, and simply rude and inappropriate behavior would see no consequences, ever. -High turnover rate for certain positions. -Management would hold things above your head and wouldn't let you forget tiny mistakes but wouldn't properly acknowledge achievements. -Management would also throw people under the bus when something bad happened.
