Pros

The people are pretty nice and usually willing to help when starting out. The benefits are also good.

Cons

Of you're not an associate director, director, or partner aka a project coordinator the pay is pretty awful. Definitely under market for similar positions like EA'S.

Pros

There are good people at PIE. Plenty of people who are worth spending time with outside of the office. The benefits are good.

Cons

No Trust, No Transparency From day one, it’s clear that management operates under the assumption that employees can't be trusted. Micromanagement is the norm, and any sense of autonomy is quickly stripped away. Instead of empowering their team, leadership prefers to keep everyone in the dark, creating expectations without ever communicating them clearly. You’re left guessing what’s expected of you, only to be reprimanded for not meeting invisible standards. Toxic Culture of Overwork Advancement here isn’t about talent or dedication—it’s about how much of your personal life you’re willing to sacrifice. Only those who make the company their entire identity are rewarded, while others are sidelined or ignored. Work-life balance is a foreign concept, and burnout is rampant. It’s not a matter of if you’ll burn out, but when. Underpaid and Undervalued Despite the relentless demands, compensation is well below industry standards. Raises and promotions are rare, and when they do happen, they’re reserved for those who have already given up any semblance of a life outside work. The message is clear: your hard work isn’t valued, only your willingness to be exploited. Final Thoughts If you’re considering working here, ask yourself if you’re willing to be overworked, underpaid, and perpetually stressed. There are far better companies out there that will actually value your contributions and respect your boundaries.
