Pros

Good snacks. Flexible hours. Nothing else.

Cons

Depends on the department you work in will drive what kind of raise you can get. Salaries lower than national or local average. They bring new people in at higher salaries but don't offer competitive salaries to their long term employees. Paying for good benefits nof. Company paid benefits cost you a lot at the front end. Put in a suggestion box but the president makes fun of suggestions at company meetings so suggest you don't use it. If you need a livenable salary don't come to work for this company.

Pros

Free snacks and allows dogs in the office.

Cons

Decent job for a new graduate to get experience; whether it be in the lab or in the office. However, don't expect any professional growth. Don't expect your salary to grow either. This problem persists throughout all departments and all levels of the organization. This alone breeds a culture of over worked and under recognized staff. Morale is always low. This is speaking of the effects of organizational policies alone. Touching upon management, there's a complete disconnect or blatant disregard to human resource management. You will periodically hear management yelling and cursing at employees in a demeaning/aggressive manner. You wouldn't see this type of behavior in the streets let alone in a professional setting. This behavior is brought to the attention of HR time and time again and is answered with a resounding response of apathy and inaction. It's truly something you have to experience to believe. After a certain point, the situation slips from sad to absurd.

Pros

You get to bring your dog to work, 2 week vacation in Dec, free snacks.

Cons

Incredibly stressful and toxic environment. There's constant yelling and cursing by management at employees. There are no cubicles so everyone hears when someone is getting screamed at. Management is always trying to find someone to blame for simple mistakes (such as answering the phone incorrectly or typos) and they go ballistic over them. People walk out upset or crying all the time. Most people would say that Sales normally have a high turnover rate, but this place is incredible. They have 3 Sales Associates and are constantly trying to fill those positions because of the high turnover rate. I constantly see them posting for Sales positions on Craigslist. During my half year there, i saw 5 people come and go just from the Sales dept alone. The other departments would take bets on how long the newbie will stay. Oh and for those of you who love using Microsoft Office, you're gonna have a bad time because this company ONLY uses Word Perfect from Corel.
