Terrible management. When owners stepped away/split, their kids took over, completely obvious they know little about property management. Only there to pinch money out of everything in budgets, employees, and residents. Also lost director of property management and new one, although experiened, makes everything about who you know, not work ethic, or talent. Lots of preferential treatment of certain employees. Lots of turnover, lots of corporate layers to get through.

Favoritism. Corporate office gets treated differently. Certain employees get treated differently. Some people get in trouble for minuscule things while others can get away with the worst. Pay rates, commissions, etc are not competitive to other companies in the area. Lots of turnover. Hard to keep maintenance personnel around long due to wages and inconsistencies. Hard to maintain the property because no updates are approved and money that is budgeted is constantly taken away. Lots of changes were introduced over the past few years and the company feels very disorganized right now. There is a lot of turn over happening and I feel it’s because the upper management/ownership team doesn’t take the time to talk to their people on the front lines. Vocalizing concerns can be turned around on you so be careful how you present them.
