Pros

-made some great friends with coworkers through trauma bonding -good opportunity to work with international teams

Cons

- Job postings are misleading and intentionally vague. If wages or benefits were, “competitive”, they would be transparent. - Gender, racial and age pay discrimination is rampant. - No pay transparency & below market value compensation - Bonus structures changes with the weather and will never be in your favor. - At Prialto, you are replaceable and they will make sure you never forget that. No sense of job security. - Employees are regularly put in morally challenging situations, asking or telling them to lie or say half truths to clients or coworkers (especially about IT security and HIPAA compliance) - Paychecks were frequently incorrect and you would have to wait till the next pay period for corrections - this place is an HR nightmare, and has NO HR so good luck if you have any issues. You’ll likely be ridiculed in the boss’ office or taken on a long “walk”. It might last 3 hours. - CEO is unable to filter thoughts before speaking and regularly says outright offensive things to employees. - Nepotism. Relatives and close friends of the CEO are managing the finances of the company - business model abuses outsourcing model under the guise of a social enterprise - CEO is out of touch with working generation and is stuck in the 1970s. Has no concept of the cost of living or ability to empathize with the actual working class. I could go on…

Pros

The pros to working at Prialto are the opportunities you have to interact with overseas coworkers and the connections you can make with executives of varied industries.

Cons

-The management style is top-down and bureaucratic, with all major changes needing to be rubber stamped by the CEO -Employee feedback is often dismissed as whining -You are forced into the office for a job that could be remote -There is no HR so if you have an issue with an employee or with management you are asked to "talk it out with them" -Lack of structure. -Lack of mentorship from experienced employees due to turnover -Doublespeak and half-truths are rampant especially when communicating with clients about assistant working conditions and information security -Lack of boundaries, it's an 8:30-5, but since some of the clients are on the east coast you may be expected to work as early as 5am -Management is not transparent -Package we were sold in the hiring process was not true as unlimited PTO and 2 WFH days after 6 months became 15 days PTO and 1 WFH day after employees started to reach 6 months of tenure -When employees are fired they are not given the opportunity to transfer their work to others, leaving the remaining employees overworked -Prialto asks for 2 weeks notice from resigning employees, but fires on the spot if notice is given -Overseas employees are not given the same level of respect by American employees/management -People with the least empathy are more likely to be promoted to positions of power

Pros

Relationships between previous EM Team were strong before we had to quit or got fired. Teams in centers are lovely, but undervalued and underpaid by leadership.

Cons

Oh, where do I even begin with Prialto? If you're thinking about joining this company, I'd strongly advise you to reconsider. Let's break it down, shall we? Do you want to be blamed for not delivering organic growth, even though your team is delivering WAY above the target? Do you want a bonus structure that gets changed on a whim by management to only benefit themselves? It's like they're allergic to rewarding hard work and competence. It's a joke. Unreachable targets, delays, and wrong payment amounts just show how little they respect their team during these tumultuous times. Do you want to constantly worry that another member of your team might get fired, and not get replaced, and that your ever growing workload may increase? Do you want your opinions and insights to never be heard, no matter how valid, with management calling it whining even though you touch parts of the company directly (PAs, Clients, Management Teams) that leadership has no pulse on? Professional growth? It's seemingly based on personal favoritism. Welcome to the life of a Prialto Engagement Manager. If you value your sanity, well-being, and career growth, set your sails elsewhere. It's been a wild ride, but I jumped ship.
