Pros

There are a few really great people with a great ethical compass. The office is very nice and bathrooms are always clean.

Cons

The turnover rate is unreal. If you’re a female looking to have a family or add to your family don't work here. You will be expected to work while you are in the hospital and from home during recovery and will not be given maternity leave (You will be required to use your vacation time and then not get paid till you are able to work). If you decide to take a maternity leave you will not be welcomed back. If you need to have any type of surgery or take a medical leave, even with notice you will not have a job. (So don't get pregnant or have any major unforeseen medical issues). Employees are greatly undervalued. The company makes promises and expects you to uphold your end while they do not follow through and leave you hanging out to dry. Management is very threatening almost abusive. This company has a very hostile work environment. The higher ups in this company are very greedy and do not recognize a job well done. Their question is what more can you do for me while I continue to run you into the ground.

Power Plant Services Response

The company maintains the highest levels of compliance with labor law and ethical business conduct. Much of what is mentioned in this post is factually not true. All employees are coached and formally trained to bring forward concerns immediately to HR if an issue arises. At that point, the company will review the case and take appropriate action to remedy the problem.

Pros

Literally nothing about working here is good. The recent coronavirus response is VERY telling

Cons

I could go on for days here, but I'll keep it brief. Constant cold calling and prospecting, often to little or no avail. All you do is constantly annoy and anger the people of the community that you are attempting to service with a barrage of needless and irksome phone calls and sales pitches. You deal on a day to day basis with a management team that exhibits the epitome of selective hearing. Unless you are calling about a sales you have or are about to make, they couldn't care less about what you have to say. Seniority means nothing, whether you've been with them for a day or thirty years, if you're not selling, you are nothing to them. The overall gist is, if you are not constantly begging for money from people, whether they be existing customers or knew, you're not doing your job.
