This company is running with only one name that is CMD. Everyone are walking around him to show how they are dedicated to this organization. CMD is made pathetic decision to place and recruit department heads. Some of are old who stay near to him and some of their servant who has not qualifications to handle work and team. Particularly in my department, there is not any review system for work. My report manager is getting salary because of team working very well who trained themselves. Functional manager is talking and behaving like goons. He is not respecting his juniors. One person is handling three person's workload. I suggest to work only in few departments otherwise very bad working culture. Only chatuakar is getting growth well who instigating and who working with spirit, honesty and hardworking, they are getting minimum growth. Favoritism is on peak. I suggest don't choose this organization to work and career development.

I was associated with Polycab since Aug 2014 to Aug 2022 with a long career of 8 years. No doubt Polycab has given me a platform to develop myself from an executive level to branch manager level and pushed me to become a leader and a role model for others. Everything was excellent till 2018/19 when top management was involved with down the line. Salary, remuneration, increment, recognition everything was good during first 7 years of my tenure. Polycab has given opportunity and a platform to junior employees to grow upto a certain position. I got many recognitions during my tenure on achievement of several milestone. Few of these milestones are still nobody has touched after my separation.

It is really heartbreaking and dissapointing that after achievement of so many milestone in Polycab for last 8 years one or two supremely wise great men has joined Polycab later in the top management. They dont know about the hardwork and sacrifices of the starting level employees. And according to the words of those two great men, the old employees have not done anything for the last eight years .They are limiting their minds to old roads and old distributors. They started insulting and making fun of some old employees including me who continuosly performed over the years. They wanted to hire some new candidates from their previous company. Unfortunately, the Directors who were previously involved in all fields ignored the problem. Some loyal and performer employees like me had to leave due to some wrong decisions of those two new national players and the politics of the newly appointed ineffective Regional Managers. All the successful employees of the Guwahati branch have already left and that is why Northeast branch is still suffering and it is just a beginning only. The biggest problem is that they do not allow an employee to present their position on any issue. They are the top level managers who have a negative feeling towards an employee just by listening to third parties. This is also a big question about their ability to retain that position.
