I have two pros to this company and position, I was able to work from home which was nice and my direct supervisor was incredible.
Cons
Well, everything, this company is run for profit like any other, however, they work overtime to make you feel that you have nothing to be worried about this is just one big family. That is a lie, in 2023 after disclosing to the employees that the company was going to be sold, the head of the customer service department pointedly informed us our jobs were safe. Within a week came the first layoffs, but instead of informing any of us that we were being laid off, they simply said we were being fired and did not give any reason for it. After having worked as a technician and as a CSR, I can say that if you share the religious beliefs of the owner then you will get far and make bank. If however you do not, you will be worked as hard as humanly possible and then dumped when they don't see your value. Now after having sold the company, Pointe has turned into a nearly criminal enterprise, withholding documentation from non-English speaking customers to prevent them from understanding charges, and contract obligations. Run don't walk away from this company, it is toxic. You, your family, and your sanity deserve better.
