      1. Cutting edge work in STEM education with a strong sense of mission 2. Well developed system of shared goals called "The HOT Plan." The annual goals are called Key Initiatives, and each department/team seeks employee input and creativity to develop localized "targets" to fulfill the Key Initiatives in each area of the company. Targets have dues dates, and when Targets are hot on time, the team is awarded points that later translate into bonuses. 3. Great company culture! In addition to fostering team leadership, Pitsco has regular celebrations, parties and service opportunities for employees with a high participation level. 4. The founding CEO is still active in the business and sets the pace for an open, caring culture

      Cons

      Pay and benefits are competitive, but Southeast Kansas salaries overall are on the low side.
