Pros

I've been with Phorest for several years now, and I can confidently say that it's been an incredibly fulfilling career. The culture here is exceptional in my opinion - it's not just about the work we do, but also about how we do it. I have felt incredibly supported both professionally and personally and it has really contributed to my dedication to my role and the company. I think the leadership team sets a clear direction for the company, which helps align everyone's efforts towards common goals. There's a sense of purpose in everything we do, driven by a genuine commitment to serving our customers and making a positive impact in our industry. Every decision, every initiative is grounded in understanding and meeting the needs of our customers, and anticipating the trends and challenges in our industry. Whilst of course there is always a huge focus on profits in what we do, this doesn't take away from the customer-centric approach. Overall, I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a workplace where culture, direction, and customer/industry focus are not just buzzwords, but clear aspects of everyday operations.

Cons

The compensation and benefits could be considered slightly below average for industry standards. This is something that is continuously addressed and while there have been improvements I think we are still quite a way off being at the same level of other similar SaaS companies and competitors. This is offset by the great culture, and career opportunities, but higher/fairer compensation would be appreciated.

Pros

Great work - loved negotiating with clients, reaching deals with them and the variety of the work. Fast paced but very interesting. A challenge. Lovely office in the heart of Dublin Lot of lovely people who I got to work with - will miss them if nothing else

Cons

In my case a very inexperienced naive manager who changed their opinions like the weather. In my small team a toxic atmosphose. People bad mounted others behind their backs and that was from the beginning I should have been more aware of this. An awful interview process which was disorganized, choatic and downright slow. While I loved the work, I regret joining and rejecting 2 other proposals.

Pros

Working from home is nice.

Cons

The workload is so high there’s no way to complete it in business hours. They “eliminate” positions often because they have no money to pay a living wage.
