Pros
Some nice people and easy to get along with. Engaging discussions in company wide meetings, with *opinions* being mentioned. Some social events - nights out organised by colleagues. The occasional drink in the office during work.
Cons
A 'list' of employees are protected and shown bias towards by the senior management team. The different cultures and backgrounds of colleagues has declined by an enormous amount. Office hygiene is beyond disgusting - I still favour using the local Sainsbury's restroom. The *opinions* discussed in company wide meetings are suppressed, it has been said by senior management (CEO) not to mention negative/ improvement opinions. There is definitely no transparency whatsoever, senior management are also intimidating and disrespectful. Health and safety is violated on a daily basis - the only fire exit is blocked off with bin bags. No training or development to help progression. Working ridiculous hours due to the lack of experience and disorganisation. When some colleagues have spoken about moving, senior management have been quick to address that they are not good enough - this has resulted in depression, lack of confidence and sleepless nights, among other things... The health and wellbeing of staff is NOT important, "If you can call in sick, you are able to work". I have personally experienced and witnessed ageist, racist and sexist remarks (even after...) - but that's deemed acceptable if you're on the 'list' by the way things have been run. Confidential information is at still at risk - there have been numerous suggestions at how to make this secure! The server closet could explode at any time!
