Pros

The concept is good and there is an industry need.

Cons

Lack of vision. Company has been doing the same thing for 25 years. Healthcare industry has changed, and is changing rapidly. Competitors have brought in additional services and product lines, allowing for bundling and savings. High turnover. The entire executive team (save one or two) has turned over in the last 12-18 months. The rest of the company has not faired better with key individuals leaving at an alarming rate. Management style. Be ready for micromanagement. While accountability is what is said, which is great and in concept sounds wonderful. Be ready to have to say the date and time a project will be completed and if you say 5pm without the CTS, you are corrected. If you happen to miss the deadline, send the email at 5:05pm instead of 5pm that is unacceptable and you will hear about it. Results don’t matter, the ability to have the tracking system on your laptop say you worked 8 hours that day is what’s important, and yes you will be asked about long breaks without computer activity. So you should be ready to wiggle your mouse while on those phone calls. CEO. My way or the highway mentality. Unrealistic growth goals in a shrinking market. Sole focus on margin and shareholder value, privately held so he’s the only shareholder, vs doing what’s right for the customer. Lack of trust and vision within his own leadership team.

Thank you for more than 5-7 years with us. We are glad we were your employer of choice for so many years and thank you for your contributions. It’s true the Executive management team has experienced turnover (The Great Resignation) but we are thrilled with the contributions we are seeing from the new talent. Their energy, enthusiasm and results have been outstanding. Fresh ideas and new perspectives have a way of energizing an organization. It’s also true we have been doing the same thing for 25 years. Not the same way of course, but that singular focus is a tremendous advantage for us in a competitive market. Deadlines are arbitrary at some companies, but our customers deserve better. Being late isn’t acceptable and “hearing about it” is how we define accountability. We respect that for some, that’s micromanagement. Our CEO encourages fierce conversations where everyone’s voice is heard but admittedly doesn’t lead by consensus. After an issue is processed, a decision is made, and everyone is expected to pull on the rope in the same direction. Thank you again for your post and we wish you well.

Pros

Beautiful new location. Great Team, Good Leadership and Very Supportive Colleagues. FMLA Friendly. Never felt pressured to work more than required and never made to feel guilty for taking time off. This fosters a more laid-back, easygoing culture among the employees. 401K, New remote work policy, 3 days in office and 2 days at home.

Cons

Pay is not competitive. Not being able to work full time remote.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We are very proud of our still new building and the quality of our leadership and management. We made the shift to a hybrid work model and believe this provides the right mix of flexibility and collaboration. Our Pharmers have adopted well to remote work and are very productive when working remote, but there's nothing like the energy in the building on Wednesday's when the majority of the company is present. We are always looking at compensation and benefits to ensure we are market competitive and understand there are many reasons why people choose to work here. Thank you again for taking the time to comment and thank you for being part of our team!

Pros

Variety in the day Some good coworkers (you’d sure hope so)

Cons

The leadership is honestly the worst I have encounter in my entire career. Multiple allegations for sexual harassment, horrible working conditions for Waterhouse workers, honestly sub par pay to start with and no ability to increase that by much due to preference given to local/in person workers. I would never wish this on a person - you will go in bright (hopefully) and leave burnt out.. so hard to watch and it truly breaks my heart for anyone that ends up here.

Hello. Naturally, I am disappointed to read your perspective. It is a rare perspective indeed and is not shared by many. As for our warehouse colleagues, they are our bread-and-butter core of the business-and we realize that. With market-driven pay, temperature controlled and spotless work environment, promotional opportunities within, a single work shift, we believe it as a more fair assessment of our culture and workplace experience to say our high retention rate and average tenure of close to 5 years, are some true barometers rather than isolated and unsubstantiated comments.

Pros

Positive co-workers who are willing to answer any question or help any other Pharmer. Their seems to be the ability to grow within the company. Leadership / management have made themselves available anytime I've asked, which is rare in most organizations. Overall, a refreshing place to call work.

Cons

A steeper than anticipated hill learning the various aspects of the company as a new employee, more likely as a result of social distancing and Covid.

Thank you for your review and feedback. COVID has impacted various business areas, and I am sure it is more difficult for a new hire to onboard during these socially distanced times. Please reach out to your HR Business Partner if we can provide additional training or support to help you in your learning of the company to support your success. We have an open door policy if you need to talk in the future.

Pros

- New office space is nice. - Some employees are fun to work with and try to help as much as they can - Once a quarter kahoots games for the chance at a $20 gift card, really makes up for no bonuses at the end of the year. - Allowed to wear whatever you want to the office - That's about it

Cons

First, do not believe all of the "positive" reviews left on here. They demand every employee come on here and write something good to make them sound better. The company is small enough that they can tell who wrote them so most people are too afraid to write anything negative. Most of the reviews are written by HR team members and are extremely fake and untrue. Don't listen to the "great culture" and that they "care about the employees and customer" comments. They are doing everything they can do to screw both of them. They say that they have certain core values that they do business by and try to withhold all of their employees accountable. This could not be further from the truth unfortunately. One of Pharma Logistics core values is communication. So it is rather unfortunate that we never hear anything constructive from any of the "leaders" here. The only time anything is ever communicated is only when it is too late and you cant do anything at that point. They are too busy ignoring the people they don't like and you can't even get a hello when you see them. There have been many examples when I have seen a fellow coworker ask for help and get 1) ignored 2) laughed at for asking or 3) told the same thing to try from before and provide no other support or options to try. Employees are leaving the company as quickly as they come in. They have a very high turnover rate and that takes a toll on peoples moral. Some days you can come in and see that someone has been let go without any information as to why and it is never addressed. They are struggling to attract any top talent. At the start of working there they have 30, 60 and 90 day follow up meeting where they asked to rate them on a scale of 1-10 about various things. You cant give them a real answer to how you're feeling because they can let you go no questions asked up until 90 days. The day after that you'll never be asked to rate them again. I have tried to have multiple conversations with a HR team member after those initial check-ins only for nothing to happen. They ask for suggestions on how to improve but never implement them. HR doesn't have your back and never will, they are there to protect the company not the employee. This is just another example of them acting like they care but not doing anything. As far as Passion goes, I have seen that and any drive beaten out of any new hires and the current employees. They don't do anything actively that shows that they care about the people coming in everyday and working. The only times you ever see any sort of passion or communication from the leadership team is when their own jobs on the line and they need to find someone to yell at and blame. I understand that the past year has been difficult for a lot of people but what this company has done to so many people during this time has been ridiculous. Forcing people to come into the office when they have had children at home and have been uncomfortable leaving them at the risk of losing their job. This isn't even including the harassment claim that they sat on for two months until it was brought up in the middle of a company wide meeting by the victim. Then they acted really concerned when it came out but clearly didn't until it looked bad on them and they had to do something to save face.

As always, we appreciate the feedback from our current and former Pharmers, but please allow me to respond to your comments. Reviews posted on GlassDoor are posted from our current and former Pharmers like yourself. We do encourage Pharmers to leave reviews, as it's a great way to show the outstanding culture we have at Pharma Logistics. However, as with other organizations, the culture may not be a fit for all. We live by our values, which builds the culture of Pharma Logistics. All 10 are important, and we hire, promote and separate based on these values. Throughout the onboarding process, we meet with each Pharmer to ensure that they are acclimating well to the culture and the organization. This is done through the 30, 60 and 90 day surveys. However, you left out the continued stay interviews that Culture and Team does with our employees to make sure that Pharmers are just as happy on day 180 or 215 as they are on day 30, 60 or 90. These stay interviews help to reduce turnover of Pharmers. We are very proud of this! Lastly, claims of any kind, including harassment, are thoroughly investigated immediately. We take these claims very seriously, and make sure they are handled as such. As a current employee, I am hopeful that you decide to speak with one of our Leaders directly so we can work together to resolve your concerns.

Pros

There are some good people there.

Cons

Toxic culture Micro management style of leadership. but will make you sit through a training called “involved management” which is the toxic spin they’ve put on it. Zero trust from the top down. Be prepared to be monitored anytime you’re on your computer. ActivTrack is used to “gather data for growth opportunities” that’s what they tell you anyways. But it’s really used as a tool to monitor your every move. You better wiggle that mouse so the screen doesn’t go black and you get dinged on the weekly report. Bullying, controlling, narcissistic CEO (check out his LinkedIn posts) he’s made it his mission to let the “haters” (former employees) know how he feels about them . His response and actions are anything but that of a professional and dignified owner of a company!

Thanks for recognizing the really great talent at Pharma Logistics…..we agree! It’s rewarding to see them acknowledged. We do practice involved management as we expect our leaders and managers to be present, visible, and engaged with their team and not to lead from behind a desk. We also expect our leaders and managers to use data to provide meaningful, fact-based feedback to their team, instead of relying on “feel”. Tools like Activ Trak allow that to happen. We know not everyone will appreciate that style of management, and that’s o.k. But if you choose to work here, you will find truthful, fact based, meaningful coaching from your involved manager. Thank you again for your post and we wish you well.

Pros

Do yourself a favor and read the negative reviews. Generally, you take these with a grain of salt and can see when a review was written by a disgruntled or biased former employee. But if you read closely, you'll see every negative review echo the same thing, which is telling. They're not the exception to the rule, they're the rule of thumb. My one positive in this company was my coworkers, and at the alarming rate people turn over, that's short lived.

Cons

Toxic culture chock full of distrust, micromanagement, and 'everyone is replaceable' mentality. Don't let the accountability speech fool you, it's micromanagement. And this is top down. The CEO has zero trust of anyone who works for him, and this is pushed down and felt across the organization. Just ask yourself, why would an employer install ActivTrak on corporate employees computers to the point of tracking mouse movement and key strokes? The company has been stagnant for years so don't let the growth opportunity fool you. There is none. The pay is subpar , especially for the work expected of you. The growth opportunities are minimal with a laughable increase attached that's so far behind market standards, it's ridiculous. And the ethically questionable employer practices proof of a leadership who think they know best, but don't. My advise? Know your rights. There is zero trust or value for employees. Everyone is replaceable and be prepared to feel that daily. The benefits are as subpar as the pay. I have no problem with hard work, when it's valued, but it's a one way street only in this company and it's not in your favor. Work life balance? Forget about it. They even created their own fun way of saying you have no balance.

Thank you for your post. We encourage people to read all reviews, both positive and negative. Unfortunately, much of your post is factually inaccurate and a matter of opinion. For example, Activ Trak does not measure keystrokes, the company is growing, and we are very proud of several Pharmers who started in the warehouse and now have Executive roles where they continue to thrive. And while our benefits didn’t work for you, many of our Pharmers appreciate 80% coverage for family health insurance We understand we were not your employer of choice and that’s o.k.! We are hopeful you have found that right fit.

Pros

I've always been someone who asks many questions, so I value that Pharma Logistics has a open door policy. Whether it is a manager I directly report to, or a leader in a different department, I always feel that I can go to my leadership team with any and all questions.

Cons

Continuous change, so I would not recommend this position to someone who does not like change.
