Pros

I received a shiny badge, which no one took seriously

Cons

Everything. This company is a complete disaster. If you sign the contract, you MUST work one full year to the hour or pay back the cost of your ‘training’ which is also a joke. I gave my notice on my 6 month anniversary and fully resigned at 12:01 am the day after my 1 year mark. Best thing I could do. What an awful company, I’m not surprised that everyone from my training class is gone too! Uggh, so glad I’m done with Perspecta!

Pros

Working remotely & setting your own schedule is a HUGE plus! My manager is amazing, willing and able to coach and always has our backs.

Cons

The caseload and expectations are completely unattainable. All security clearance interviews are handwritten (43 pages of questions on Subject interviews). Use of technology to better serve the customer and the Subjects is non-existent...they still use fax machines to transmit documents. All cases go to a reviewer (never the same reviewer) and all reasons that cases are reopened are subjective to that reviewer and their understanding of the requirements. I would encourage anyone looking at the company for employment to look elsewhere. You will not have a life outside of this job and the outrageous requirements.

Pros

I'm not sure if there really are any. You do work from home, but that means your work is always there and they want you working on it. You do set your own hours, but with the caseload that's assigned you will work all of the time.

Cons

This company was previously known as KeyPoint Government Solutions. Read the reviews under that name. Over worked, under paid. As an investigator you are responsible to gather information for someone else to make a determination if an individual is worthy of a clearance for the federal government. You get 6 weeks of training and then are thrown into the fire. Different case reviewers want different things and reports typed different ways. You get different reviewers all the time so cases are sent back to you on a regular basis to fix in addition to the new cases that are assigned to you on a daily basis. The workload expectations are crazy. You can't meet all of the requirements to obtain the "bonus" money that they dangle in front of you. Your family life is non-existent. My boss once asked if I was going to take my laptop with me on vacation so I could work on any reopened cases I might get. The pay is nowhere near what you would expect or should earn for the type of work that you do.
