1) Poor Management Practices: Every single day I see examples of management acting poorly. They are always sneaking around and planning behind closed doors, rarely including those that are responsible for the project or task being done. 2) Intimidation: From the very top of the company down to lowest management, I have seen employees chastised, harrassed and ridiculed. Snide comments are often made. I have never heard a single bit of encouragement given. 3) No Real Plan: Maybe there is some top secret plan that employees aren't aware of, but there just seems to be NO DIRECTION at all. At my level I would think that there would be quarterly or monthly meetings to discuss the progress of any plan. Nothing aparently exists. We all work every day doing what we "think" will help the company grow. 4) Health Insurance: I must depend on my SO for coverage.

Job security is only good if you want the job. This place is littered with bad employees, bad attitudes, and poor work ethics. This is tolerated and no discipline is ever handed out. The few good employees are worked to death and are expected to pick up the slack for others. Management is awful. They are prone to frequent swearing, bullying, and manipulation. Temper tantrums are commonplace. Despite claims of fairness, they are anything but that. They turn a blind eye to the issues within the company and refuse to address employee-related problems. So many people are blood relation to management and are not held accountable for their actions. The human resources department is powerless, inept, or both. The handbook is absolutely useless and is not followed or enforced, unless convenient to do so. This all creates a hostile and unprofessional work environment. Beyond the issues with the workplace environment and management, there is very little training, very little opportunity to move up, and very little earning potential. Raises are rare and don't even cover cost of living increases. The few pros of this job are vastly outweighed by all the cons you will have to put up with as an employee here.
