      Very little guidance from mid-level management with an overall sink or swim attitude.

      Pros

      The mission and vision of the company will easily appeal to anyone genuinely drawn to human services especially with the promising potential for advancement.

      Cons

      PDG habitually hires interns in need 'experience' for the completion of a degree, causing a high turnover rate. Of course this practice is a detriment to the individuals they serve in the community and keeps the wages low. PDG does not have a strong training program that would promote retention and lacks consideration for working parents with large caseloads and unmanageable expectations.

      Pros

      community, learning, support, constant collaboration, opportunities for growth, fulfilling, really engaged in creating positive behavior change for clients, and they actively support all staff They do not shy away from learning how to make the company better for both staff and clients

      Cons

      Cannot think of any cons. It is hard work though and it does require you to be truly dedicated to the mission - which is not necessarily a bad thing
