      Pros

      * The CTO is a good system architect but lacks management experience * They have begun hiring diverse candidates however culture remains cliquey and doesn’t promote allyship

      Cons

      * Hostile work environment rife with blame, bullying, retaliation, and passive aggressive communication and behavior  * Lack of leadership, professionalism and accountability as evidenced by management's failure to mediate disputes resulting in escalation in discord and conflict * Lack of open mindedness or receptivity to new/different ideas * Poor communication skills  * No sense of group cohesion/collaboration encouraged or fostered * Poor treatment of departing employees

      Pros

      Colleagues and some of the group work. Good pay.

      Cons

      I miss what this place used to be. The new exec leadership took over around a year ago and things have not been the same. Employees were asked to make posts on here and other posts were removed. The culture is fake- starting at the top, and no job is safe. We have no product to compete in market and the “people” leader VP (c-suite level here) lacks empathy and respect.

      Pros

      Particle is led by some of the smartest and most ethical individuals in the healthcare data space ... period. The team is supremely focused on solving problems for patients and providers. If you're passionate about solving data issues within healthcare, this is the team to do it with. If I had to make a list, the top three pros I can think of are 1. Well-meaning, good-hearted, honest, ethical and transparent senior leadership 2. An advisor, investor and network ecosystem of some of the most impactful minds in the business. 3. A super talented eng team and a CEO who is willing to take on any task at any time.

      Cons

      It's a young company and has some of the classic growing pains associated with hyper-growth. You just have to expect that coming in. Communication and decision-making can be better. Growth goals aligning with product and market realities are always a work in progress. It's a competitive space and Particle is building things that have never been built before - that comes with issues and mistakes but that's to be expected.
