Pros

The employees such as the Account Executives and Direct Area Managers are very professional and good to work with. They have some very intelligent individuals.

Cons

I am a seasoned AE who has been in sales for over 15 years and I have never come across a company such as Pandera. The upper management such as the CFO / Sr. Director of Strategy & Growth is very unprofessional and untrustworthy. He tries to belittle the employee/consultant because he thinks he is above the rest, but he just has personal issues outside the job that he tends to bring to the workplace. He doesn't give the employee enough time to succeed and learn the craft. Training is minimal if any, and if you are hired from an outside recruiter they fire you before they have to pay the fee. They fall back on their word for bonuses, contact agreements, and literally what the company represents. When it comes to getting paid, they will give you the run-around and if you are on a contract/agreement - good luck trying to get your money. Overall believe me, don't waste your time with this company.

Pros

Pandera Systems has some exceptionally sharp minds working as Analyst, Developer and Architects at ground level within the firm. It holds quite a reputable name in the space of Microstrategy BI and Analytics consulting market. Individual gets an opportunity to grow and learn working on projects remotely as well as on client site.

Cons

-Even though individual delivers results, perform well, build client relationship, maintain ethical practices does not guarantee your stay within the company. After 7 months of diligent work, I got laid off because the top leads could not find projects to work, keeping me billable. It is always hard to get a new job looking at stricter H1-B norms in the country. A call from CFO on Friday tells you to part ways from the company coming Monday, although I have been chasing Managers to grab any projects within entire US since 2 months..but all your attempts fail in-spite of consistent performance. On top of it CFO never answered to my several severance package requests. After what I did go through, I will never recommend anyone to work for a firm that does not consider employees as assets and blinded transparency from top management.

Pros

Consulting business focused on BI, mostly MicroStrategy deployment. Good stepping stone to gain experience and industry exposure.

Cons

poor ethics and disregard for employees. They don't pay competitive wages/bonuses. The benefit package is a joke! You are expected to work overtime without compensation. They do not invest in education/training. The rare cases when they do, the classes/certifications come free to them. Company culture is definitely not open. Major communication problems at all levels. ideas and opinions are voiced behind closed doors, never discussed publicly. The owners manage the company and they do anything to inflate the amount of billable hours. Management type is very traditional, more concerned in maintaining control over resources. Very poor ethics.
