As a recent college graduate looking to land an entry-level job, I can't say I had the highest expectations here. What I've gotten though is the opportunity to learn and grow as a professional in so many ways that extend beyond the confines of my job description. While of course it's important to get your own duties taken care of, at The Paley Center I've been afforded the chance to try my hand in so many other areas. I've tackled everything from finance & HR to event planning and coordination. If you're serious about bettering yourself as a well-rounded young professional, this is undoubtedly a great first step!
Cons
As is the case with most non-profits, the pay (especially for an entry level position) isn't the best. But if you're willing to sacrifice that for a wealth of experience, then it's an easy thing to get passed.
