      Pros

      None, other than primarily work from home.

      Cons

      Terrible, self-serving, oblivious management with no clear business plan; total disorganization that negatively impacts the line worker. No sense of team work or collaboration; every man (literally) for himself. Managers saving favorable work and accounts for themselves and leaving lower level employees with scraps (and then blame those employees for lackluster results). Blatant lack of diversity - gender and race. Micromanagement that is suffocating and demoralizing . Broken corporate culture; browbeating, intimidation, shaming. Astonishingly arrogant c-suite. Zero frills - no compensation for setting up home office; no meaningful employee incentives/morale boosters of any kind. Clear lack of company interest in the development of it's employees. Lack of appropriate resources to support the volume of work.

      Owl takes these reviews very seriously. We strive for every employee to have a positive experience and we clearly had a disconnect here. Owl senior leadership prides itself in supporting our employees’ professional growth and treating one another with kindness and respect. Like many engineering companies, we are working to improve diversity and inclusion and recently hired 5 women for technical summer internships and support diverse teams globally. We hold our teams accountable for results and offer remote/flexible working arrangements for all staff. Owl offers many perks including Health club Reimbursement, LinkedIn Learning, Flexible PTO, Summer Fridays, Door Dash and more. We wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors.       I really loved my co-workers and there were some very nice people in the company I learned from

      My manager at the time was intimidated by my contributions and made it an awful experience for me. I felt like I was constantly walking on eggshells and this was felt by my peers also.

      HR cares about helping new people fit in more than management

      I was let go from Owl Cyber Defense days after being told by a higher up that the company has plenty of money and no plans to let anyone go.
