Pros

Nothing redeeming about this place except it looks like a great website. Not to be believed because it’s all a con

Cons

People and culture are not what they seem to be initially. They use and abuse people. Middle management fails to communicate. People in HR are useless. Only males or Icelandic people get promoted

Upper management is out of touch

Pros

Great Unloader knee braces. Remodeled corporate office and a good work life balance

Cons

I found there to be favoritism based on sex and athleticism throughout my time there. The layoffs didn’t make sense, some territories that were doing great were laid off and given to those who were doing poorly. If you were female, it was hard to have your voice heard by upper management. I had several other female colleagues discuss their concerns with having their voices heard on a regular basis. I’ve had my own ideas taken and my male counterpart be praised for it instead. If there is anything this year has taught me is that standing up and having your voice heard is crucial.

Pros

Nice office, but like the company more about form than function. If you can come up with great PPT for everything from your daily task lists to T&E performance you will do fine provided you don’t contradict legacy personnel. Strong frontline managers in certain departments.

Cons

The company is steeped in favoritism with a non-accountable culture. The conflicts between Iceland and Americas is a constant source of frustration. Department teams were often left with little oversight for years and the attitudes reflected it. Make sure you are given free reign to make changes because both Americas and Iceland will not support you in the end to hep maintain status quo. Way too many politics at play for a productive and cooperative business environment.
