      Origina team excels at self-promotion, reflecting the company's sales-oriented mindset. It is crucial to seek information beyond internal sources to avoid falling into potential pitfalls. Exercise caution in relying solely on the HR team, as upon joining the company, discrepancies between the values and culture presented during the interview process and the actual workplace dynamics become apparent. Managers exhibit shortcomings in people management, lack knowledge of day-to-day operations, and demonstrate little initiative to drive improvements. The ascent of certain professionals to leadership positions seems perplexing. If considering joining this company (perhaps out of necessity), exercising prudence in expressing concerns is advised, as speaking up may result in becoming a target.

      We are always disappointed to hear that Origina wasn't a fit for for a former employee. The feedback you have provided is very much in contrast with our Great Place to Work results and the general feedback internally and externally about Origina. We are a fast growth company with high-performance standards, and this environment can be challenging for some, but we are absolutely a values-led company and the majority of our employees believe we have built something really special.

      Avoid the bully boy tactics and unrealistic goals

      Pros

      Some of the co-workers are lovely people.

      Cons

      Some within higher management have strong egos and have publicly resorted to bully boy tactics on numerous occasions. If you do not fit the mould, you will be quickly moved on. Management have hugely ambitious goals (some very unrealistic) which is understandable for the industry. But it creates a very very toxic environment at times - more so than in other companies. Evidence of this can be seen with the high turnover in some departments over the past 2 years. The company is expanding fast to capture a rapidly diminishing market. Don't be caught as collateral damage when the market turns sour.
