- They hired me from India directly. I accepted the offer because it was in Singapore. - Probably nothing to say other than that.
Cons
- Once I reached Singapore and joined Optimum, I realized there is no permanent job in Optimum. They just deploy at client place as contractor/vendor and once placed @ client location they never care about u. - Less annual & medical leaves than normal contract employees ( 12 AL & 8 MC) for a year. - Worst work life balance. I suffered a lot. The client makes your life hell. I have worked more than 15 hrs on daily basis. Some time coming to home at 3 AM or 4 AM. Almost all weekend working during my 2 years of stay. No comp off. - Very unprofessional and unethical. If you are leaving within one year, they will deduct whole One month salary + Flight Travel Amount +10 days accommodation + VISA fee - Salary gets credited on midnight of 7th of every month. - All projects are short term. They claim minimum one year of work with employee but its not actually. - They don't pay you if your are not billed from client. If no project from client, then no salary. There is no concept of bench/pool for at least one month. - No proper response from HR. You have to follow them like a beggar to get your work done. - No career path. There is no appraisal system. Hike depends on client. - Before joining the company please go through the reviews, otherwise u will suffer after joining.
