Incompetent family-owned and run business.

Pros

I can't honestly think of one positive short of the higher pay, but even that was because they couldn't or wouldn't keep people around long enough to get things done.

Cons

Honestly, I wouldn't be writing this now unless I had seen the random posting for job openings with this company on glassdoor. But I feel that anyone who applies here should be given fair warning as to the type of management and environment they can likely expect. This business is owned and "run" by a family who has very little experience in running a proper business. The extreme level of incompetence of this family has led to a number of business practices which only served to bring them to the state they are in today. Payroll checks routinely bounced if they were even paid on time. Benefits were canceled and barely reinstated a few times. Employees were regularly hired and terminated within short periods of time. Anyone who had an ounce of expertise was seen as a threat and was routinely purged without remorse. Weekend work and late nights were expected and demanded year-round. There was very little transparency and what little information was released to employees was spun so far out of context as to make it look like the government agency with which they had their contracts was the bad guy.

This place is a disaster

Pros

No true "responsibilities." The people made it fun. The facility was nice before they got evicted and moved to the "sister company's" building across the street, which in all actuality was another cover-up company.

Cons

Pay -- They pay you 1/2 of what the market value is for your position, and they never pay on time. Forget about Direct Deposit. At least once a month, a mass email will be sent claiming there are issues with the financial system and employees will receive "hard checks." Job Security -- Longevity? Forget it. You're there for maybe 3 months before you get canned. Benefits -- 90 day probation period? Please, you may not even make it there that long. Lies -- They try to sell you on their company business when in actuality, they are incredibly shady and thrive off of a single contract Workload -- The work given to you is clearly "busy work." There isn't much going on pipeline wise (incoming contracts). Management -- Management clearly is unprofessional. They base every decision off of emotions Growth -- No growth at this company whatsoever.

Pros

Good experience if you last more than a few weeks

Cons

Salary is way below market rate. Upper management is clueless how to run a company. Everything is unorganized, people are fired with very little notice or apparent reason. Company regularly fails to pay its employees. By the time I left the company, I am owed close to $10k in back pay. I'm sorry but I am going to advise you to stay far far away from this company. I guarantee you this is not the type of place you want to work. The work environment is nothing short of a street gang as that's how business is conducted. Beware, this company is very litigious and have turned half truths into scathing claims against some of its previous employees if you ever try to use them as a reference. Very unprofessional overall.
