Pros

I joined this company when it was one of the fastest growing online marketing companies around. The culture was really fun and I felt appreciated.

Cons

A major problem was that it serves only one market -- for-profit education. That sector had a major downturn starting in July 2011. With no diversification the company's performance fell to the floor. Management, which had seemed competent during the growth, revealed that many of them were actually not very well-equipped to deal with challenges. The culture pretty much tanked about the time I left.

Pros

Great people to work and fun atmosphere. Pretty relaxed about dress code (for the most part), and not too strict on the time in and out. New CEO is a Champ, will probably turn this company around, and fix what the old CEO almost ruined.

Cons

The old CEO was a joke. The whole company worked as a boys club. Many of the executives are/were ill prepared for a market downturn and made extremely poor decisions which ultimately lead to a massive company wide layoff. Even though poor decisions came from the top down, not one of the Executives were let go (company headcount prior to layoff = 170, post layoff = 45). This boys club simmered down after the old CEO left, but the upper management continues to reign with terror. Different departments are shown obvious favoritism and little value is shown in other departments.
