Pros

Office space is nice, but I would also argue that that is a con.

Cons

While the office space is nice, it is also a working showroom, which comes with all the usual showroom negatives. Management is delusional. There does not appear to be any culture of accountability, collaboration or respect among the entire company. All the higher ups appear to care about is putting more money in their pockets, while claiming to be a "family" company (and the company turns over $500 million a year!). The pay is not silicon valley level at all. Processes are archaic and frustrating to say the least. Benefits are also not on par for most other area companies. 401k match was only 25%, and maxes out at $1k per year.

Pros

My coworkers are great, super friendly and easy to get along with. They are more than willing to answer any questions that I may have, when they are available. My supervisor does her best to Supervise 20+ Project Managers.

Cons

The training is terrible, you are expected to hit the ground running. A new training program is being rolled out but the one trainer that they have for all 3 offices is extremely busy. Favoritism is abundantly prevalent. They tend to underpay people. There are no quarterly, semi annual or annual reviews so you don't have an idea of how you are doing until you make a mistake and get reprimanded. The feeling of working for a family run company is quickly changing. Turn over is extremely high (30%) and doesn't seem to be slowing down.

Pros

The only pro that I can think of is the espresso machine, and even that is marginal. There are good people here, and they make so little money I don’t even know how they afford to live in the Bay Area.

Cons

First, the entire management team is delusional. There is not a worse set of managers at any other company in the Bay Area There is zero onboarding, not a single policy enforced, and not a single manager actively manages their teams. I was even offered comp time by my manager - and comp time is illegal in CA!!
