      Pros

      Pay well. Their carbonate plants are world class. Product quality is second to none. Technology and Tech Center continue to set the standard.

      Cons

      Besides carbonate, Omya has become one of the larger chemical distributors in the world. Their Product Portfolio is quite large and growth expectations are somewhat unrealistic. Chemical Distribution is a very mature business and there are a number of sizable competitors. Commitment and product portfolio are critical.

      Great pay and benefits Fun people to be around Family oriented

      Cons

      Management is aweful. Blind to fact that good people left after new management came in. Too political, good ol' boys club. Poor Training program. Great place to work if you have no self respect. little to no advancement opportunity.

      Pros

      Omya is a global company. It is a great company to work for, especially if you are in engineering. They are always looking for good engineers. They pay well and have great benefits.

      Cons

      If you are not used to change and a fast pace, this would not be a place to work. As with any global company, you may not like the direction that is coming from the global group, but we work as a group and that is the direction we must work towards.
