Pros

The benefits package was pretty decent. The vacation was the best part of the package. Salary is decent for a jewelry business.

Cons

-Management (complaint wasn't never taken seriously) -Boutique manager yelling and cussing at sales associates -Training isn't great and you're expected to know the product when there isn't a formal training. They give you a binder with information and then test you by corporate. The test is harder than you would think with the information that's provided. - General Manager's are not held accountable for their actions. - Takes FOREVER to be even considered for a promotion - There isn't much communication from corporate until your numbers aren't great and that normally fires up the GM's to get angry with their associates.

Pros

The unique history, culture, and memory of a legendary timepieces is not only very interesting, but actually very inspiring.

Cons

While the product and brand are so unique, the management and organization is too centralized into an inefficient, disjointed and confusing tangle, too dependent upon one, single person. The HR department is condescending, arrogant, and mean spirited, even toward tenured employees whom they say they want to retain., yea, sure you do. Compensation is not equally adjusted for experience. Benefits are drastically shrinking. Wholesale markets are allowed to undermine Boutique efforts. Managers have no oversight and employees are at their mercy, so good luck with maintaining any standard of fairness, justice or equality at the boutique level.

Pros

The ability to learn about the Swatch Group and the many brands that it owns under its moniker. If you desire to learn about the history of watches and watchmaking, its a great company to work for because you have a significant amount of unproductive time on the sales floor. Most people that commit to purchasing the Omega product do so at an authorized dealer where they know they will get 30-40% off of the MSRP.

Cons

Thoughtless leadership with lofty goals for the brand. Inconsistent messages sent through corporate communication channels causing loss of credibility amongst staff and with clients. Company fails to recognize the true brand positioning of their product in the North American market.
