      Exciting environment, bad management

      Exciting new technology to bring to market

      Cons

      Organizationally, the place is a mess. Goals are ill-defined and employees are regularly chastised or let go for perceived lack of performance that is much more attributable to the arrogance of the founders. Individuals are not particularly valued, and the founders overwork the employees (often for no reason).

      The other employees used to be the best part. The perks, the culture. Even competitive salaries. That’s all gone now unfortunately.

      Cons

      After an acquisition that was extremely hard on employees, management and senior leadership went steadily downhill. The founders seemed to lose all interest in the culture, worklife balance of employees and the company as a whole. As the business is slowly declining, they continue to take the bad advice of senior management. This is a sinking ship you don’t want to board.

      Pros

      The people who keep Olapic running day in and day out are some of the best in the industry. They put their heart and soul into every task and trying to find the positive since the acquisition.

      Cons

      Management across the board is the weakest link. It’s well known they have had tons of missteps in senior leadership and it just continues to happen. Within the executive team there is no clear direction and every few months they shift. The executive team makes rash decisions, doesn’t think through consequences and then leaves their employees to have to pick up the pieces. They also allow a select few to run rampant regardless of how much damage is left in those individuals wake.
