      Toxic atmosphere and disengaged leadership create fear

      Freedom to come and go from the office.

      No reviews on here for 6 months. Very suspicious. A culture of fear. Poor C-Level hires that seem void of any actual engagement with those working non stop to keep the place alive. Office atmosphere is really bad. Some people I work with don’t even want to talk to each other. It feels like bad things have been doubled down on. Nobody wants to say anything about how bad Owkin has become. We had a company offsite and it was horrendous. “You’re all just toys”. Was a quote in a group with someone at the highest levels.

      Dear Owkinaute I have read your message carefully. Some of what you describe - the weight of transformation, the fatigue, the distance you might feel from leadership - reflects a reality I am aware of. Owkin has been through necessary yet significant change over the past year, leading to some difficult decisions and new ways of working. All this, within a context where the pace is accelerating in our industry and we are building something ambitious and exciting - yet complex. That has been a stretch for many of us, and we are still in the middle of that journey. Making sure people can do their best at work and feel supported doing it is what I am here for.       Great culture of building each other up; opinions and voices are heard. New product launch allows a lot of room for growth and pivoting strategies

      New product launch comes with nuances with market fit and iterations. Changes in structure makes a slightly confusing to know who to go to for what internally.
