Pros

CEO will give you some extra days around holidays, which is nice. WFH flexibility.

Cons

Toxic workplace, lack of training and communication amongst teams. CEO is a narcissist and if you don't kiss her behind she does not like you. This workplace pits people apart. The CEO asks you to review other team members during your own reviews and never has any positive constructive feedback to give you. The place is so unorganized and the CEO will do nothing to put things in place to help make it organized. The CEO claims she wants everyone to have a work/life balance but overworks all of her employees, to which some are working until 2-3AM. Most of these positive reviews are written by her or her other managers. Every spring there is a new rotation of employees. So you will notice most of the positive reviews come in when she is looking for new team members, during the spring months. The workplace is completely toxic but masqueraded as a "team" and "family" because of infrequent office outings, and cocktail happy hours. Please stay away if you like your sanity as most employees are miserable working there, and overworked. The CEO does not listen to requests to add more members to the team, and the turnover is ridiculous. No one stays, if you like your sanity do not work here and please listen to the reviews of this being a toxic workplace, and the lack of training. There are no organizational processes to help make things more streamlined. Benefits are horrible. They do not even have processes in place for clients. There are a lot of performative things done to seem like things will get easier, or better but most of it is lip service.

We appreciate you feedback even though you are no longer at this company. Its disheartening to hear that you have felt this work environment wasn’t a good fit for you when we have had the opposite feedback from most team members. We have taken steps to add structure, invest in training, and improve overall efficiency. We still have things to work on and we are doing our best to improve the trainings and project management tool. We strive to maintain fair and open dialog and we regret if there was any perception of favoritism where you felt left out. There has never been a time where the CEO doesn’t welcome feedback and put the team members first. The social team has made such strides the past few years and I wish you can see them now. We still have a lot of work we need to do to make this team strong and the we are dedicated to continuously doing what is possible to make the team happy. Since you haven’t been here in a few years, your feedback is not up to date but thank you so much for taking the time to provide feedback. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

The dog and employees were creative, smart and nice. Company had snacks which was nice.

Cons

This place was a revolving door. I saw people come and go more than any other team I have worked. The President and CEO who oversaw the team are the absolute worse people I have ever worked with and created an awful company culture. They yelled at you in front of the entire office when you made a mistake but never provided any guidance, which was strange. President read all internal Gmail chats (guess he didn't have anything else to do and rather go this route than perform a survey or talk to emoloyees directly like any other company would) and used your opinions and thoughts for improving the company against you vs. taking that feedback and improving the culture.
