      None at all to report

      Cons

      Terrible pay, incompetent upper management, questionable personalities and intelligence of people that work there. Management is not there to help you, but to use pressure tactics on you to "make them money." People that work there put the blame on others for their own shortcomings and mistakes. Lack of respect for fellow employees and a great deal of turnover within the company. Truthfully, not a reputable place to work. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

      At Nycom, we are genuinely concerned for our employees, their personal and professional growth and development, their security and that of their families. We always try do all that we can to support our people in their efforts. Nothing is more important to our success than the dedication and effort of our team members. Nycom really depends on our employees' continuous commitment to excellent service for our customers. If our people have issues, we strongly encourage them to talk to their managers and try to identify and fix the issues together. It is unfortunate that the author had this experience with Nycom. As the review does not identify the employee or their role, this review is difficult to respond to. Nycom has been in business since 1983. Our employees average staying with Nycom for 6.8 years. 42% of our employees have been with us for 5 years or longer. If we did not care about our employees, that just would not be possible. We hope that readers will do their own research on working for Nycom, and not rely solely on this review.

      Potential to be good but only if you fit in.

      Cons

      Little opportunity for growth. Everyone is a VP. Title is "everything." Don't make the wrong person mad or you will never be anything but a peon. Reimbursements don't match modern day.

      Thank you for this feedback. We will use it to try and improve things here. If you have more targeted feedback about things that we can improve on, please contact our Human Resources manager. We recently increased our HR staff specifically with the intent of making things better for our team members and to improve communications. We wish you good luck in your future endeavors.

      Okay for a paycheck, but don't look for a career

      Half-day Fridays during the summer and wellness reimbursement

      Cons

      With salaried positions, employees are overworked with no additional compensation. Upper management is complaisant and not receptive to suggestions for improvement. Company sees employees as an expense rather than an asset.
