Pros

If you are in with the right people, you don't have to do anything. If you are a relative, you do less. MOST of the people I worked with were great people.

Cons

Everyone is a number. No consistency in anything. Goal posts change for everything to benefit the business and exploit the employee. Incestuous culture. Most employees seem like they have Stockholm Syndrome. Sales and purchasing are worst enemies. Everyone hates the Business sales team. Customer services try their damned hardest not to pay out to customers. SOME of the people there are sub human leeches who would run you over in the car park if they thought it would help them get an easier life. Business leads are absorbed by the Consumer department... In fact; most leads are absorbed by their management. Every minute of your time in the building is monitored, not even a minute extra lunch or late arrival is forgiven. Nothing ever changes... ever. They want the maximum from their employees while giving the minimum in return. Everything you do you have to fight against the internal processes and management.

Worst time of my life.

Pros

Nice colleagues, for the most part. Discounted electronics purchases for employees.

Cons

Highly understaffed, abusive managers who couldn't care less about you or what you attempt to do for the business. Disruptive questioning and constant negative review of your performance. Worst time of my life. Understaffed, underpaid, underhand, reactive business model. I would say Novatech is going down the tubes, since the fired almost all of their B2B staff and many IT support members have jumped ship. Very high staff turnover. No career improvements. If you are there over a year then good luck being stuck on the same pay at the same grade with no chance of improvement.

Pros

Cost Price Computer part benefit

Cons

Constantly changing job roles, with zero compensation for more work, more effort, and more stress. From a Support department that went from managed services to ISP support. More care for the sales department than any other department, with better wages, incentives and bonuses. All other departments are overlooked and underpaid. Each year CEO holds a meeting which praises the sales team, mentions them by name, but doesn't focus on any other department in the building. Many people are left to pick up the slack from people leaving the company, but with zero incentive to do so and no pay increases for the extra load or work, and no training to take on those new positions. Internal conflict between departments, creating a hostile work environment. No progression from the basic of paid roles in production, and the constant cutting back and leaving people to dry when contracts are lost through Sales management and relationships.
