Pros

Connection with clients and coworkers who also share immigrant identities.

Cons

White saviorism. Elitist (preference for attorneys from "top" law schools). Preference generally for white attorneys. Managers are white and supporting staff/non-attorneys are typically BIPOC. Incredibly problematic management. Make decisions w/out consensus or taking into consideration workers' experiences. Retaliation against those who complain about racial disparities/who question the status quo.
