Pros

-Some people are nice. -401k and retirement plan is ok, not bad. matching 4% when you put 6%.

Cons

-It has become very political, cost savings, money making machine since acquisition by Danaher. -Nobel biocare does good in sales, but not other companies owned by Danaher, so your bonus gets impacted by all companies, usually you get less. -Local HR is no longer involved unless is for hire and people leaving the company. You are supposed to call an 800 number for HR help, useless. -Medical benefits are "Self Insured" look it up if you don't know what this is. -Co-payment is more expensive too than before, around $190 every two weeks for a family. -New hires gets less money, compare to people hired before acquisition by Danaher. - Not much growth opportunity unless you are accepted in inner circles of friends.

Pros

Danaher 401k plan. They match up to 5% and deposit an extra % of your w2 at the end of the year. Benefits are great and danaher/nobel covers the majority of the cost. Great Flexibility in work schedule. Great pay and I really love the new incremental levels of salary raises you can get yearly if you hit your number. This new addition really puts incentive on staying with the company long term. Great team and amazing management. Also, you get the ability to socialize with TOP management ( VP of Sales, etc ) during training functions. Being on the bottom of the totem pole, given this chance to have conversations at dinner with major decision makers makes you feel important. The great thing is they actually care what you have to say.

Cons

Anyone who complains about this job is probably spoiled by the old days of med sales. It's not 1998 anymore. To have the ability to make what we do, working the hours we work, and helping the doctors and the patients the way we do - makes me feel blessed and insanely lucky. We are selling a top quality product for a company who actually cares about the patient - not just the money. That's rare.

Pros

- very competent and collaborative colleagues (although the brightest minds eventually leave the company) - salary is slightly higher than average

Cons

- upper management and leadership team have no clue what they're doing - the company does not have a long term strategy and does not give any sort of direction to its employees outside of the usual town hall blah blah - the marketing department is all over the place, with a lot of incompetent people in charge and constant frictions between different teams - there are people working in marketing who don't even know how to run a marketing campaign - crazy turnover - very questionable decisions from upper management lead to a toxic work environment - no motivation, no professional development, you're treated like a machine that simply needs to follow directions - no innovation, driving change is nearly impossible - if you are hoping for a promotion because you're a good performer, keep hoping. No one is going to reward you unless you brag about your achievements with upper managers - conflicts of interest are EVERYWHERE
