Pros

The people are genuinely good to work with and many colleagues support each other despite the challenges. Remote working is also a positive.

Cons

My experience (although common across all staff) was that the working environment became increasingly difficult due to management style, communication issues, and constantly changing expectations. There was a culture of pressure rather than support. Concerns raised by employees often appeared to go unanswered, and communication from management frequently felt one sided and ignored. You was even made to feel like you couldn't raise an issue and if you did it was very much of "How dare you". Targets and expectations regularly changed, making it difficult to plan, measure success, or feel secure in your role. Commission structures and performance metrics were revised frequently, creating uncertainty around earnings and progression. There was a strong focus on urgency, with employees often feeling expected to work beyond normal hours to keep up with workloads and targets. Taking annual leave did not always feel like a genuine break, as work often accumulated and required attention upon return. Staff turnover was noticeably high during my time with the company. Rather than focusing on coaching and development, performance concerns often felt managed through formal processes, which created anxiety across the team. Support was always asked for and it was always made out it was available but when support was chased you was ignored and told to go to the team instead. There were frequent discussions around upcoming product developments and business changes, but many promised improvements appeared delayed or repeatedly pushed back. This led to frustration among employees and customers alike. The organisation also underwent regular structural and strategic changes, which created uncertainty and made it difficult to establish consistency. If you did not agree with what was said you was very much seen as a target to bully and patronise.
