Pros

Pros: free snacks, decent health insurance/benefits, travel can be involved depending on role

Cons

Nexthink’s management is an absolute joke. They don’t care about their employees, only working them “harder and faster”- the CEO’s mantra- to achieve their insane targets. Very high stress environment, not at all what they make it appear from the outside looking in. If you’re considering working here, do yourself a favor and don’t.

Dear Former Nexthinker, thank you for leaving a review. We are truly sorry to hear you were not happy with the environment and with the management team. Yes, speed and momentum is crucial here at Nexthink, we won’t deny it. Hyper growth, by essence, means moving quickly, which can be stressful at times. Our management is setting ambitious targets but makes sure these are relevant and achievable at the same time. Again, we are sorry if you experienced it differently. We wish you all the best for the future, Your Employee Success Team

Pros

The youthfulness of the company is great in the US mainly just the ISR team. The Boston has a great culture and the Inside Sales Reps and the tech teams (Web/CSM) are great! The concept around the platform is great and hopefully the technology catchup with the idea. I would give this a 2 but the original Nexthinkers who’ve been at the company before 2018 are really great to work with, which make me give it a 2.3.

Cons

The underlining technology is outdated and is not next generation. This for an Engineer can be career suicide. Working on old technology will not help you advance your career in the technology industry. Also, the company doesn’t eat its own dog food. The culture of the company has been going down over the last year in the States due to an influx of a micromanagement and lack of transparency. This is what we call the “good old boy” culture creeping in. You will see this as all new employees come from 1 particular company. We’ve seen too many talented people leave the company due to lack of talent retention and enablement. Also, the hiring of sales reps based on a relationship with management and not their actual skill to close deals or company connections. This is show as most reps do not have strong relationships with economic buyers.

Pros

Decent product, nothing else you can say

Cons

Micromanagement - they want to see your every move, you will need to ask their permission to contact any customer. Absolutely pathetic. The sales team needs to learn how to collaborate with other departments. Never seen a division between teams like this in my entire career - it's like two different organizations competing with each other. Toxic environment - Poisonous politics have destroyed the company ethos. So many corridor conversations the place is toxic. Most talented people have either left or got sacked by greedy management who only cares about IPO so they can cash in on their share options. No career progression - there is absolutely no investment in the current employee's career path...unless you worked for a company like...cough...then you are fine - you are part of their gang and as long as you do what they said you are going to be "successful"
