Great mission and support staff who care about each other.
Cons
Ridiculous expectations, lack of work/life balance, and transparency between senior leaders and staff about salaries and promotions - currently based on favoritism, and no written guidelines for staff to follow in a career path.

Thank you for your feedback. We're disheartened to hear this from any employee, and would love to work with you to alleviate these concerns. Work/life balance is absolutely a priority for us as an organization, and with the hiring of our new HR leader, we are currently in the process of clarifying promotion policies for all employees, which will be published soon. We ask that you bring any concerns you have on these points directly to our new HR head, your direct manager, or another leader you feel comfortable speaking about this with. We hope to hear from you!
Support staff is there because they care about the mission.
Cons
Select leaders are not held accountable for the ways they treat staff. No HR. Sales leader is ineffective and a bully. Constant priority shifts. Dollars over mission at all costs including morale and culture.

Thank you for your feedback. We're disappointed to hear these concerns, as well as the fact that you felt you could not bring them to your direct manager.
While revenue is of course a priority for us because it funds our mission, everything we do at NextUp is in service to Advancing All Women, and we are dedicated to the culture transformation required to help all employees thrive.
We take your note about bullying very seriously, and if you are still a current employee with us, we hope you will be willing to bring your concerns to management. If you do not feel comfortable speaking with your direct supervisor, we strongly encourage you to speak with our COO, CEO, or any leader you feel comfortable talking to with while we are in the process of hiring an HR leader. We hope to hear from you so we can address these concerns directly.
1) Positive mission about the advancement of women
2) Hard working staff members that care about the mission
3) Remote environment offers flexibility
Cons
CEO has been in role for four years now and is not effective in growing the organization. She doesn't hold her direct reports accountable for their poor people leadership skills. There is not enough staff, unequal pay, unfair practices/favorites and a toxic culture.

First, thank you for your feedback. We’re saddened to hear that you have had a negative experience working with Network of Executive Women.
As you note in your review, we are a small but mighty team dedicated to working for our shared mission of Advancing All Women. We can also say with no small amount of pride that we have seen double digit membership and revenue growth in 2021, which is expected to continue in 2022.
We are vigilant in assessing our culture on an ongoing basis, and our Culture Transformation Team was created with this goal in mind. If you are still an employee of NEW, please engage with the culture team to air any concerns you have so we can all work together to meet them.
In addition, if you have concerns regarding the efficacy of management or our pay practices, we want to hear about them. We strongly encourage you to contact the Culture Transformation Team or Chief of Staff if you would like to discuss this matter further.
I sincerely hope we’ll be hearing more from you, so that we can address your concerns directly and make sure NEW is the best place to work it can possibly be.
