Pros

You will meet some amazing people and you will absolutely learn a lot.

Cons

You are constantly being watched and reported on, which can work in your favor if you are a good fit for the position but be very cautious of what you say. Not everyone is there to support you, but the ones who are, will support you greatly. Coaching moments and punishments can be synonymous. HR is there for the company and higher ups only; HR is not by any means there for you or other employees. If you find an email correspondence on your work laptop important, screen shot it, screen record it, make copies, whatever it is you need to do to ensure you can refer back to it in the event it goes missing from your laptop. Opportunities can be given just as quickly as they can be taken away. The turnover rate is quite high for a place that presents such positive ethics and values, but you find out quickly why that is the case. There are apparent cracks in the culture, but if you are able to keep your head down and do as you are asked with no questions asked, you should be able to skip over the cracks and not fall in them.

Pros

- Significant opportunities for growth and development, even early in your career - Exposure to client-facing workshops and presentations from the start - Early opportunities to build and practice management skills - Ability to gain experience across multiple areas of the business (finance, marketing, event planning, recruitment, etc.) -Direct interaction with senior-level clients, including Fortune 500 executives -Opportunity to contribute ideas and have input on projects (though final decisions are top-down) - Team culture is generally young, collaborative, and friendly (leadership is not) - Steep learning curve with the chance to build skills quickly

Cons

- Very high-stress and toxic work environment - Poor work–life balance; employees are often contacted during vacation or sick leave with assignments, and personal time is not respected - Leadership plays favorites and can fixate on one mistake, which impacts how you are perceived long term - Company promotes strong cultural values but leadership does not model them - Hypocritical expectations of a “corporate” environment, while leadership often demonstrates casual and unprofessional behavior - wearing sweatpants in the office, walking around with no shoes on, screaming across the halls for others, overlooking simple courtesies [good morning, how are you, welcome back, etc] - Leadership tends to be condescending, treating employees more like subordinates than equals - CEO is unwilling to take accountability and often shifts blame to others - Leadership’s emails are frequently unclear, full of errors, and difficult to interpret, and employees are often dismissed when seeking clarification - Poor time management from leadership—meetings are scheduled well in advance but frequently canceled or delayed at the last minute, wasting employee time and resulting in delayed timelines -Projects frequently fall behind schedule due to leadership not completing their own tasks, leaving teams scrambling to meet deadlines

Pros

You will be thrown into many opportunities for you to either sink or swim. If you swim and just keep swimming and you will gain so much experience

Cons

No structure, no clear guidelines, inconsistent messages from leadership, toxic culture from the top down. Lots of unprofessional behavior and language from leadership. Lack of accountability at the top but strict accountability at the bottom. They have no loyalty and make inconsistent decisions. It is very mentally consuming and anxiety inducing. They recycle through people because they have a strong mindset that anyone and everyone is replaceable. They will take away opportunities from some people and hand them to others leither to punish them or to tell them they are not good enough). A lot of emotions and weird behaviors. Not normal despite consistently comparing this firm to other big companies that operate very differently. Leadership will not take accountability if their life depended on it. Also, you will have better luck if your a man.
