Pros

If you are Chinese or Asian and know someone, you will get opportunities handed to you. Only put Hispanics in one or two areas.

Cons

No diversity and opportunity for growth unless you are Asian or know someone ; very untrusting, negative culture, unless you are Asian. Very cliquey and too much gossip and nepotism.

Pros

close to home and freeway but that's about it

Cons

1. Company has TOO MANY politics and it’s affecting other people/departments in the company. Either upper management is not aware of it or they are and refuse to do anything. There’s a struggle of power and it’s very obvious where these managers refuse to talk to each other or work together like they’re 5 years old. Talk about unprofessional work ethic. 2. People in different departments don’t communicate to each other about what and how things need to be done. Request is vague and let's say if you do something wrong, rather than finding solutions and fixing things together as a team, people like to point fingers at each other. It’s very unclear which department does what and they just operate on their terms. 3. It’s surprising that even people who’s been here for years (managers, supervisors, directors, etc) still don't know what they're doing and very incompetent. One simple request can take up to months and it’s ok to delay because they’re managers but not ok if you’re the one who delay. 4. Company plays favoritism hard. It's one of the biggest reasons why so many incompetent people are promoted so fast. I’ve seen way too many dedicated employees who devote their lives to the company but only stay as mere entry-level positions. 5. HR department is useless. Hiring process takes an average of 2-3 months and that’s very normal here. When people have issues and complain to HR, they don’t do anything to fix it or discipline people who’s at fault. But they’ll come to you if you're late for work, clock in for lunch later than it’s supposed to. What’s the point of even having a HR department then.. 6. They often hire incompetent people and turn a blind eye to pass their probation because they’re desperate for people. 7. No morale/culture in the company. If you’re lucky, some of your coworkers will be very friendly and down to earth but that's often not the case. 8. Employee benefits - super cheap is all I have to say. 9. Employee turnover rate is super high. Most people who left are upper management who have been here for years and actually know how to do their jobs. That says a lot about how this company operates. 10. No parking - you’ll have to park on the street which is very insecure. I hear stories about people whose cars get hit, keyed or even ticketed. 11. Not enough working space - New hires don’t even have desks or have to share a desk with someone else because they don’t plan it through. I’ve seen new hires come in when their computers aren’t even set up. 12. Office is super dusty and it’s even worse because they have carpets and dusty vent that blows out dust everyday. Wonder how many times they deep clean this office. 13. Office work space is sad. Expect typical corporate cubicle. If you need office supply even a small post-it notes/pens, you have to fill out order form and it needs to be approved by your manager, director, etc. 14. Software is very outdated and you’ll always need to do things manually. If a large company like this handles million lives, please invest in better technology/software to handle things more efficiently and accurately. I wish I was telling fake news but I’m not. This company creates a very toxic environment to work with. It drains your energy from dealing with all the politics and incompetent people. They will ask you to work extra hard and basically dedicate your life to the company but won’t offer anything to compensate you. It’s not a surprise why so many good people leave the company.

Stay Away - Great Potential But Rough Road Ahead For the Foreseeable Future

Pros

- The company is growing and expanding every year, which is hard to find during pandemic. - Great holiday parties, plenty of generous prizes are raffled off. Although you need to reserve a spot before it fills up.

Cons

- Severe lack of communication and training. Upper management tells you they care about employees but don't invest in their training or career development. - Upper management lacks people skills. It's awkward to be in a meeting and watch a peer be constantly berate by the VP and asked if they know how to do their work. - Little to no training. While I was there, people asked for training and how other departments work together multiple times but management did nothing about it. - Benefits could be better, they slightly improved recently but not dramatically. - Everything is old and disjointed. Systems we use are incredibly out of date and not functional for modern day purposes.
