Pros

No pros, except that you get paid to do nothing (which is actually probably cons).

Cons

The list is so long: - Really bad company culture - Silos with no way and will to comunicate in between - Insane hierarchy (you can only talk to the other silos via your boss ;) ) - Lack of competancy - Lack of will to change and adapt to the new realities. - Technologies are around 1995-2000 level - Pretty bad HR policy (people are as something that is not really needed in the company).

Pros

Solid business, dominant in Denmark and Norway. The company has recently become commercial (it was fully owned by banks earlier), but all considering, business part is well run and managed, and good at exploiting its dominant position.

Cons

Much of the IT part management is a disaster. Many systems have many incidents and customers are not satisfied. IT vice presidents are mostly old-timers and have no idea of how to fix this other than appoint a pointless task force, but are very good in keeping their position. Business is not used to push the IT part so there are little consequences. The company has little or no recognition for actual performance. The result: a madhouse for employees, declining competence and the few good managers leaving running.

Pros

Solid pay (until you break it down on per hour basis)

Cons

Do yourself a favour - look at Google reviews from customers of Nets. There is a reason why they get 2 stars, and they treat their employees the same. There's an occasional injection of highly skilled and driven external talent, but good people have high standards and leave as soon as they understand the scale of the dysfunction. The recent Italian takeover is an obvious failure (look at the share price of Nexi Group). No vision, no customer-centricity, a lot of internal politics. If you're considering a job offer, even in this challenging market - don't.
