Completely sales based company

Pros

Filled with freshers so one doesn't feel out of place

Cons

Fooling you in the name of business associate where you'll be going door to door asking for donations. They'll show how in 2-3 years you can become a business owner but don't get fooled. If you're interested in going person to person, knocking at people's doors then maybe you can consider.

Pros

Good office atmosphere, co-workers will soon feel like family, probably because it's such a small company. Often the team gets breakfast / lunch / dinner together and go to tech meetups together. On the rare occasion that there's no customer tickets the team will goof off together. Good healthcare benefits.

Cons

Since it's such a small company the CEO is who you directly report to. CEO comes off as pretty nice person but has extremely unrealistic expectations, often says "this will probably only take 10 minutes" for nearly every task as a result work-life balance is non-existent. Often after you leave work you'll have to and continue to work from home, submitting code 11 at night is not uncommon, and working weekends is common place. It shows poor planning when building a new software application the CEO verbally gives input (as he says, "it's all in my head") of how the new application is going to be but you'll have to repeatedly ask the CEO for mock-ups, diagrams, and to put his ideas in writing of what direction he wants new software application to go and look like. CEO often changes his mind about what language / framework / task tools / etc the team develops in which adds to unrealistic milestone time expectations / work- life balance issue. There's very little on-boarding for new hires to get yourself familiar with the business and current existing applications and little training so you're expected to hit the ground running. CEO seems to only like "yes men" and dislikes employees that speak up and try to level with him and give realistic time expectations. Which results in CEO only taking suggestions from some employees and zero suggestions from other employees (even if the suggestion is positive and is not time related). Most of the employees are right out of school and probably don't know any better, that there are tons of tech opportunities elsewhere in the area (including small startups) with **WAY** better hours, ***WAY*** better work-life balance, and better pay.
