Pros

Generally good quality people

Cons

Management likes to play toxic politics and manipulation on people, rather than genuinely caring about staff and company's organic growth.

Pros

Great collegues, flexible working conditions. Enjoyable industry

Cons

Heavily overworked and underpaid for said workload. You are treated as a number with little encouragement to develop and gain future roles in the business. Business is very short sighted with little emphasis on nurturing future relationships. Not just expected to your own job but regularly do not replace staff leaving and expect everyone else to cover the vacant positions work load.

Pros

Interesting product. Covid inspired upturn in the Fishing market has saved the company and glossed over many glaring issues. Mostly great people.

Cons

Several core areas of the business have deteriorated under the current regime in the last few years. Feeling of Job security is non-existent at this place, regardless of how well you do your job, or the amount of value you add to organization, and despite record profits. Failure to provide bare basics of what people need to do their job. Global leadership seemed to be completely out of touch with business and the employees they are responsible for, and are oblivious to what role staff play in the company, or the value they add. Lack of direction and strategy for business units. Very little support or communication offered to teams. Highly political/toxic global environment where doing what’s best for the business is not the priority. Severely imbalanced illogical IT resourcing across global IT teams, creating stress for those on wrong end of it. Extremely good talented people are ignored. Productivity, delivery and results are completely irrelevant under the current regime.
