No one who works here is paid a fair salary. Forget any promises about commission, you will not be receiving it. Opportunity for growth in position/salary is little to none. Also, although you are salaried, you are not treated as such. When I worked there you had to clock in/out- even for lunch. If you leave at 5:30, the boss often harasses you about where you are going. There were no boundaries to questions about your personal life and many female employees were made to feel uncomfortable. Employees were frequently told they lacked common sense and had their intelligence regularly insulted. Issues at the office were often approached from a personal standpoint- management tends to talk down to employees rather than work with their staff on how issues can fully be resolved. Overall, if you value your mental health and your bank account, I suggest looking elsewhere for work.

Overall, it is a highly uncomfortable work environment for a number of reasons. At this company, employees were underpaid relative to responsibility, and comparable positions at other firms. In addition, payroll was missed/late on multiple occasions. Commissions and bonuses were not paid to any employee over the final 8 months of my employment, and additionally during another 4 month period the year before. The business was suffering greatly and reduced staff by 50% over the summer of 2013 to stay above water and not fold; so I have serious concerns about any long-term viability. Ownership is abrasive and overbearing, and made frequent inappropriate and/or profane comments. The most egregious of these comments were numerous sexually explicit and inappropriate comments centered around all of the following: ownership's own sex-life, female employees, girlfriends of male employees, sisters and other family relatives of male employees. These sexual comments ranged in nature from mild/moderate, to extremely graphic.
