Paul Kasko is my best reason to work at Narrative. He's a tremendous manager and colleague, full of energy and spunk, and a real scholar in the science of people-first management. He understands deeply what each member of the team brings to the table, and uses those assets perfectly. I've never had a better colleague, manager or mentor. Elsewhere, I appreciated the chill vibe, flexible hours and desirable work-life balance.
Cons
Working from home can evoke feelings of being out of the loop or not up to speed on corporate goings-on.
If you like executives that frequently scream and yell, this is the place for you.
Cons
If you performed any job function that had to report to the CEO, it was like being in an abusive relationship. Loud, angry, and impossible to speak to on any human level. He treated his subordinates like garbage and valued his own opinions and insight exclusively. Other ideas were just not welcome. Coworkers seemed to keep their heads down and hope to not get noticed.
