      flexible schedule close to home, family

      Cons

      owner cares only about printing magazines and not correct spelling, grammar, or advertiser wishes owner takes big clients away from ad reps and claims them as house accounts unqualified family members given jobs and others required to do their work

      Pros

      great fun vibe, the opposite of corporate, lots of people who have been there for years and know the business and product very well. location is close to some great restaurants. unionized employees.

      Cons

      double-edged sword, as people never leave (again, union), or give up their accounts. pretty much no growth potential if you're looking to move up in your career. do your time and get out. sales cycle follows the ebbs and flows of their print revenue.

      Worked there for over 7 years had a blast! Great christmas parties Famous people came into work sometimes like the trailer park boys for example. fun place to work

      Cons

      News paper industry is dying customers who bought ads could be very negative pay a bit on the low side not too many raises Good benefits/heath plan.
