Be careful with this company…

Pros

Benefits are decent for this market. There are some great people that are part of the company.

Cons

Be very careful if you plan to work for this company. They can create issues to ultimately “let you go” on terms other than a “layoff”. They’re trying to avoid being publicly embarrassed by layoffs so they quiet fire, often. HR is not on your side and if you do speak to them, plan on retaliation from higher management. Turnover is out of control so it’s hard to keep up with who is doing what. Management has favorites and if you question them plan on being retaliated against. They offer a great salary with bonus then remove the bonus to save money which seems to be a hiring tactic. The communication is horrible and it’s extremely difficult to get a correct answer for anything. Upper management will burn anyone to get what they want and there is no loyalty whatsoever.

Greetings, Operations, Former employee for more than 1 year Our management teams are the finest in the mortgage industry and have high expectations for all employees equally. We appreciate constructive and insightful feedback that can be used to improve, but allegations of retaliation are unfounded. We have an excellent Human Resources department with team members that are above reproach and have the ability to resolve complex employee relations issues with balance. Your recent separation may have colored your actual experience since you served in a key role for more than one year. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Pros

Not much I think of besides good benefits and remote setting opportunity

Cons

Unprepared leadership team - VPs and CEO need to be more knowledgeable about leading a team in (massive micromanaging setting). They do not care for their employees and team! Fired people because they did not get what they wanted/needed within 5 minutes of asking for it. They will not do anything and will blame it on you. CEO thinks he is superior to anyone else (not from a title perspective) and will disrespect you on calls and emails! You will never get promoted! They will hire someone else instead of promoting you - cheaper for them. But they will hire you saying there are growth opportunities. All they care about are certain LOs. Seen some harassment happen!

Pros

Consistent Paycheck, Potential For Growth

Cons

What I consider to be a hostile & unprofessional working environment with no real recourse for lasting conflict resolution. Success which leads to profits can sometimes make it difficult to coach "bosses" with a long lasting positive effect for every employee involved. Employees who generate profit & employees who are in operations should be viewed as equally important. Every employee is a person, a human and important. Lucky for me I know my value.
