Pros

There are no pros. I would give this company zero stars if possible.

Cons

The company is very disorganized. The interview process was tedious. 2 Assessments and 4 separate interviews with every staff member, and the last one was with the CEO. As stated in the previous reviews, I also noted a toxic work environment. I have no doubt that the CEO micromanages because he is involved in every process. Overall, this company does not care about your time.

An Absolute Mess

Pros

- lunch provided a few days per week

Cons

- Work direction is constantly pivoting monthly depending on CEO’s interest. No clear goal. - CEO emails and We-chats employees at all hours of the night, also expects a response on weekends and non-working hours. - CEO makes employees "voluntarily sign up" to answer Facebook comments and social media during weekends and holidays. - CEO We-chatted employees on Christmas day asking for Facebook ad work. - Company had employees WFH during Christmas break and still took PTO days away. - It was common to have 5-6 meetings a day in an office of 15 employees. No time to get work done in the office so company expects work while at home. - CEO micromanages every sector of the company. (Example: he will personally write and publish social media ads when the marketing team isn't responding during off-hours. This leads to brand inconsistency.) - Extremely high turnover rate. - CEO will say that you are expected to work extra hours unpaid because it is a startup and "this is the nature of the beast” and offers stock options, claiming the stocks are "worth millions" but their claim cannot be supported.

Pros

Not enough pros to justify Musely.

Cons

I purposefully bombed my 2nd interview so that I didn't have to work for this company. There was so much back and forth with the art assignment that started with little instructions then the rep kept asking for edits when his directions could've been clear and concise of what he wanted in the first email. The constant need to move zoom rooms because who ever assigned them doesn't know how to make separate zoom links so there's no overlap. 2 other management employees couldn't make it to my interview because they were stuck in a meeting. This is a clear sign of how unprofessional they are disrespecting my time and how much they lack basic time management skills. As a graphic designer, this would be a nightmare to work at where you're constantly going at a fast pace with little direction and will most likely lead to doing constant edits on the same project. Despite being told by the rep that your work is your "baby" and that you have creative freedom. Work here if that is how you want to spend your time.
