Pros

I really can't think of many good things to say, the products are ok, but really not needed in the marketplace, a dying breed, of what once was a needed media, is worthless in my opinion. A handful and I mean handful of the folks are ok, separately, but that is out of approximately 15.

Cons

Where can I begin, I have never seen such a group of dysfunctional folks working against each other and back stabbing in one single place, horrific. The worst ever, it's a joke in the industry. The concierges use them for the free perks, they could care less about helping them to get additional business, sure they like them for the dinners, broadway shows, you name it, all good from their perspective. It's run by the worst and untalented people I have ever met in my career which spans a long time.

Morris family driving business into the ground. Employees are dispensable.

Pros

Working with a lot of talented, friendly people. Great place to gain experience. Flexible hours and a mostly casual work environment. Good benefits.

Cons

The Morris family is out of touch with new business trends and digital media. There's a lot of talent, but everyone has to kiss the ground Billy Morris walks on in order to keep their jobs. There's too much employee turnover and instability. Working in the corporate office especially will offer a lot of stress and constant frustration. There's a ton of potential, but a lack of communication and inability to adapt to new business trends is ruining their chance at success. Upper management is filled with a lot of driven and passionate employees, but even they have their hands tied. In Augusta, Morris has become known as great "training grounds" although it was at one time a thriving business. Nothing will get better until Billy Morris lets go control. Employee compensation is minimal with a constantly growing workload. New positions are rarely created. Meanwhile, Morris keeps buying up more work to be managed by its overworked, understaffed team.

Pros

If in sales, your time is basically your own. Generally the people you work with are nice (taken individually).

Cons

Where can I begin? Total disregard for employees. Everyone is expendable. They pride themselves in Christian values, but only for their own family. Work environment is toxic. They never give pay raises, yet they buy more and more magazines. In 2008 they took 10% away from employees salaries and never gave it back. They rely on consultants to tell them what to do, rather than talk to their own employees who have a better grasp on the individual marketplaces. They lie to your face. A TERRIBLE place to work
