Pros

It's presumably better than unemployment.

Cons

Extremely poor pay. They'll offer incentives for performance, but the criteria to earn them are very difficult. When you hit one of the big ones, they'll literally tell you "we'll have to make that harder for you to get," and raise your goals dramatically. Too many salespeople for the amount of business they have. Lots of lip service about upward mobility, but like they incentives, they have no intention of fulfilling any promises.
